Purpose: Return to work (RTW) has been understudied in Asian women with cancer, despite the increasing number of breast cancer survivors (BCS). This study examined RTW among Korean BCS, exploring its associations with cancer-related fatigue, quality of sleep, mental adjustment, and psychosocial factors.
Methods: This cross-sectional study recruited BCS from a hospital, a breast cancer support group, and an online community in Korea between July and August 2019.
Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) presents therapeutic challenges due to limited targeted treatment options and resistance to chemotherapy drugs, such as doxorubicin. This study investigated doxorubicin resistance mechanisms and a strategy to overcome it. A doxorubicin-resistant cell subline (231-DR) was developed from MDA-MB-231 TNBC cells, and enhanced expression of cellular FLICE-inhibitory protein (cFLIP) in 231-DR cells was identified as a potential driver of the resistance.

However, the specific echocardiographic parameters for estimating diastolic dysfunction are insufficient for a single right ventricle. This study aimed to investigate the echocardiographic indices associated with time constant of isovolumic relaxation in post-Fontan operation patients with a single right ventricle.

Case Presentation: The patient was an 11-year-old male with right-sided abdominal pain.
A 9-year-old boy was suspected of having acute myocardial infarction and emergency coronary angiogram was performed. No signs of flow limitation in either coronary artery was detected. We performed intravascular ultrasonography from the ascending aorta, which showed a ridge on the left main trunk acting like a valve, resulting in significant stenosis.

Purpose: Adjuvant endocrine therapy has a vital role in reducing breast cancer mortality. The beliefs in adjuvant endocrine therapy is a very important factor in the medication adherence of breast cancer survivors. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a standardized scale for assessment of adjuvant endocrine therapy.

It has a variety of bioactive phytoconstituents that have been used therapeutically to treat a number of serious illnesses. Ancient Vedic scholars used this herb because of its pharmacological effects, particularly as a nerve booster and nootropic supporter.

The study investigated outcomes related to cancer-related fatigue (CRF), quality of life (QOL), physical activity, depression, anxiety, sleep quality, and social capital.
Methods: Participants who had moderate or greater CRF were randomly assigned to the intervention (n = 24), consisting of supervised and home-based exercise, or the control (n = 26), who received exercise leaflets.
Zinc-air battery (ZAB) technology is considered one of the promising candidates to complement the existing lithium-ion batteries for future large-scale high-energy-storage demands. The scientific literature reveals many efforts for the ZAB chemistries, materials design, and limited accounts for cell design principles with apparently superior performances for liquid and solid-state electrolytes. However, along with the difficulty of forming robust solid-electrolyte interphases, the discrepancy in testing methods and assessment metrics severely challenges the realistic evaluation/comparison and commercialization of ZABs.

This review presents the fundamentals, structures, thermodynamics, chemistries, and electrochemical kinetics of desirable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) required to meet the practical requirements of reversible anodes. Theoretical and experimental insights for metal nucleation, deposition, and stripping for the reversible cycling of metal anodes are provided.

Understanding their QOL is important as it reflects their unique characteristics; however, there have been few studies on this in Korea. This study aimed to translate and validate the Korean version of the Parkinson's Disease Questionnaire-Carer (PDQ-Carer).

Methods: This study was qualitative descriptive research examining the experiences of South Korean women who had recurrent miscarriages three or more times.

Nurses are very important healthcare providers in disaster situations, and from undergraduate nursing students to professional registered nurses, such practitioners should focus on strengthening their disaster-response-related self-efficacy and competency. The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean version of the Disaster Response Self-Efficacy Scale (DRSES-K) and evaluate its psychometric properties. The DRSES was translated into Korean and developed based on the translation and adaptation of instruments suggested by the World Health Organization.

Introduction: Recent reproductive technology for cancer patients has provided multiple options to preserve their fertility. Preserving fertility can increase quality of life of cancer patients. However, medical service providers and patients face difficulties in the decision-making process for the fertility preserving treatment because studies focusing on the concept of decision-making and various intervention materials are lack.

Here, 3D flexible free-standing bifunctional membrane electrocatalysts composed of covalently cross-linked supramolecular polymer networks with nitrogen-deficient carbon nitride nanotubes are fabricated (referred to as PEMAC@NDCN) by a facile self-templated approach. PEMAC@NDCN demonstrates the lowest reversible oxygen bifunctional activity of 0.

Recently, a balloon catheter for static BAS was approved for the first time in Japan as an alternative to the conventional pull-through BAS. Despite the expected increase in the use of static BAS, reports on its safety are scarce worldwide.

Flow regulatory clips help improve interstage mortality; their use necessitates CIs to prevent cyanosis. To study the CI outcomes in patients who underwent palliative surgery with either BTSs or VPCs with flow regulatory clips.

Thus, examining QOL is essential for fully understanding the life satisfaction of breast cancer survivors (BCS). However, selecting the appropriate instrument for QOL measurement is challenging, and few studies have compared disease-specific and generic QOL measures and how they reflect the impact of cancer-related symptoms on QOL in BCS.

In 2014, a clinical reasoning assessment rubric (CRAR) composed of analysis, heuristics, inference, information processing, logic, cognition and meta-cognition subdomains was developed for osteopathy students.
Methods: This study was conducted to verify the validity and reliability of the CRAR in nursing education.
Rechargeable aqueous zinc-air cells (ZACs) promise an extremely safe and high energy technology. However, they are still significantly limited by sluggish electrochemical kinetics and irreversibility originating from the parasitic reactions of the bifunctional catalysts and electrolytes. Here, we report the preferential building of interfacial structures featuring the edge sites constituted by FeCo single/dual atoms with the integration of Co sites in the nitrogenized graphitic carbon frameworks (FeCo SAs@Co/N-GC) by electronic structure modulation approach.
