This study aimed to compare clinical outcomes and second-look arthroscopic findings between double-bundle anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction for complete ACL rupture and anteromedial (AM) bundle augmentation with preservation of the posterolateral (PL) bundle in isolated AM bundle rupture. Between 2014 and 2021, we retrospectively analyzed 95 ACL reconstructions with at least 2 years of follow-up. Patients undergoing primary ACL reconstruction from January 2014 to June 2021 were included in the study.

Both AD and DM-related ADRD are characterized by reduced cerebral blood flow, although the exact mechanisms remain unclear. We previously identified compromised cerebral hemodynamics as early signs in TgF344-AD and type 2 DM-ADRD (T2DN) rat models.

Few-shot learning holds significant potential for achieving accurate LA segmentation with low demand on high-cost labeled LGE CMR data and fast generalization across different centers. However, accurate LA segmentation with few-shot learning is a challenging task due to the low-intensity contrast between the LA and other neighboring organs in LGE CMR images.

Purpose: To investigate the risk factors for varus progression after arthroscopic medial meniscal posterior root tear (MMPRT) repair and to compare the clinical outcomes between two groups: one with more varus progression and the other with less varus progression.
Methods: Patients who underwent isolated arthroscopic repair of MMPRT between 2015 and 2020 were enroled, and 2-year follow-up data were collected. Participants were categorized into two groups based on preoperative values of the weight-bearing line (WBL) ratio: group A with <5.
Coronary artery disease (CAD) narrows vessel lumens at the sites of atherosclerosis, increasing the risk of myocardial ischemia or infarction. Early and accurate diagnosis of CAD is crucial to significantly improve prognosis and management. CT angiography (CTA) is a noninvasive imaging technique that enables assessment of vascular structure and stenosis with high resolution and contrast.

In 2021, the ASCI-PT was convened with the goal of formulating a consensus statement on the assessment of coronary stenosis and coronary plaque using coronary CT angiography (CCTA). Nineteen experts from four countries conducted thorough reviews of current guidelines and deliberated on eight key issues to refine the process and improve the clarity of reporting CCTA findings.

Here, we provide new evidence implicating inflammatory lipid autocoids in ACM. We show that specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators are reduced in hearts of mice, a well characterized mouse model of ACM.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included 550 early-stage surgically resected lung adenocarcinomas in 521 patients, classified into training, test, internal validation, and temporal validation sets (n=211, 90, 91, and 158, respectively). Radiomics features were extracted from the segmented tumors on preoperative chest CT, and a radiomics score (Rad-score) was calculated to predict the presence of STAS.

Cancer therapy, including immunotherapy, is inherently limited by chronic inflammation-induced tumorigenesis and toxicity within the tumor microenvironment. Thus, stimulating the resolution of inflammation may enhance immunotherapy and improve the toxicity of immune checkpoint inhibition (ICI). As epoxy-fatty acids (EpFAs) are degraded by the enzyme soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH), the inhibition of sEH increases endogenous EpFA levels to promote the resolution of cancer-associated inflammation.

However, few studies have compared the long-term clinical outcomes of ACL reconstruction between older, younger, and middle-aged patients. The purpose of this study was to compare the long-term clinical outcomes of ACL reconstruction in older patients with those in younger and middle-aged patients.

Hypothesis: MPFLR with the proximal femoral tunnel position has worse clinical and radiological outcomes than those with the distal femoral tunnel position.
Patients And Methods: Fifty-five patients who underwent isolated MPFLR with proximal or distal femoral tunnels with at least 2 years of follow-up were retrospectively analyzed.
Background: This study aimed to compare the clinical and radiological outcomes of medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction (MPFLR) between anatomic femoral tunnel positions at anterior and posterior footprints.
Methods: Fifty-seven patients who underwent MPFLR for patellofemoral instability with anterior or posterior femoral tunnels between 2014 and 2021 with at least 2 years of follow-up were retrospectively analyzed. Based on postoperative images, the femoral tunnel positions anterior to the line connecting the adductor tubercle and medial epicondyle were assigned to the anterior group, group A, and those posterior to the line to the posterior group, group P.
Docosahexaenoic acid [22:6(-3), DHA], a polyunsaturated fatty acid, has an important role in regulating neuronal functions and in normal brain development. Dysregulated brain DHA uptake and metabolism are found in individuals carrying the APOE4 allele, which increases the genetic risk for Alzheimer's disease (AD), and are implicated in the progression of several neurodegenerative disorders. However, there are limited tools to assess brain DHA kinetics that can be translated to humans.

This study analyzed the trends in concentration changes and influencing factors of VOCs in underground subway stations in the Seoul Metro before (2019) and after (2021) the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 506 samples were collected from 253 stations on lines 1-8 between May 2019 and September 2021.

To ensure proper dosage of a drug, analytical quantification of it in biofluid is necessary. Liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) is the conventional method of choice as it permits accurate identification and quantification. However, it requires expensive instrumentation and is not appropriate for bedside use.

Background: There are no studies on the nonoperative treatment of traumatic partial anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) graft rupture.
Purpose/hypothesis: The purpose of this study was to compare the clinical and radiological outcomes and failure rates between nonoperative treatment and revision ACL reconstruction for traumatic partial ACL graft rupture. We hypothesized that the outcomes and failure rates would be comparable and that nonoperative treatment of traumatic partial ACL graft rupture can produce satisfactory outcomes.
