Small Business Support Is Associated with the Quantity, Quality, and Usage of Youth Physical Activity Opportunities in Urban, Low-Income, African American Neighborhoods.

Evidence suggests small businesses could play a significant role in bringing quality youth physical activity opportunities (YPAOs) to urban areas. Knowing more about their involvement with YPAOs in African American neighborhoods would be of significant value given the relatively low PA rates of African American youth. The current study examined associations between small businesses and YPAOs in low-income, African American urban neighborhoods.
