Design: The study conducted by Olmedo-Gaya et al. aimed to investigate the effects of various surgical techniques on the initial stability of implants placed in the posterior maxilla through a randomized controlled clinical trial. The study compared insertion torque (IT) and implant stability quotients (ISQ) among implants placed using under preparation, expanders, and standard surgical instrumentation.

CrO-TiO-Modified Filter Paper-Based Portable Nanosensors for Optical and Colorimetric Detection of Hydrogen Peroxide.

In the present approach, a CrO-TiO-modified, portable, and biomimetic nanosensor was designed to meet the requirement of a robust and colorimetric sensing of hydrogen peroxide. CrO-TiO nanocomposites prepared via the hydrothermal method were fabricated as a transducer surface on the filter paper using the sol-gel matrix. The color on the filter paper sensor changed from green to blue upon the addition of hydrogen peroxide in the presence of TMB.
