Musculoskeletal (MSK) pain significantly impacts physical activity and quality of life in older adults, potentially influencing mortality. This study explored the relationship between MSK pain, physical activity, muscle mass, and mortality among older adults. We studied 1000 participants in the Korean Longitudinal Study on Health and Aging (KLoSHA), a prospective, population-based cohort study of people aged 65 years or older.

Electrochemical Behavior of Li-Cu Composite Powder Electrodes in Lithium Metal Secondary Batteries.

A new type of Li-Cu composite powder electrode (Li-Cu CE) was fabricated via mechanical blending of Li and Cu powders. The new Li-Cu electrode is capable of replacing Li metal anodes in Li metal secondary battery (LMSB) systems without exhibiting typical intrinsic problems such as dendrite growth, volume change, and electrolyte depletion. Thus, Li-Cu CE cells can offer longer lives and very high capacities.

Elucidating interactions and conductivity of newly synthesised low bandgap polymer with protic and aprotic ionic liquids.

In this paper, we have examined the conductivity and interaction studies of ammonium and imidazolium based ionic liquids (ILs) with the newly synthesised low bandgap polymer (Poly(2-heptadecyl-4-vinylthieno[3,4-d]thiazole) (PHVTT)). Use of low bandgap polymers is the most suitable way to harvest a broader spectrum of solar radiations for solar cells. But, still there is lack of most efficient low bandgap polymer.
