Prevalence and Characteristics of Pathological Fractures in Patients Referred to Specialist Palliative Care: A Retrospective Study From India.

Prevalence of pathological fractures in palliative care is less studied. This study aimed to determine the annual prevalence of pathological fractures and describe the characteristics and treatments in patients with pathological fractures referred to a specialist palliative care clinic in a tertiary care cancer center in India. Data of adult cancer patients newly referred to the specialist palliative care clinic over 1 year with a clinico-radiological diagnosis of pathological fracture was included.
