Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Enteritidis (SE) is a global concern for the poultry industry due to its association with foodborne illnesses. The transmission occurs through the transovarial route which initiates from colonization in oviducts and ascending to ovaries.

However, there are gaps in data quality assessment for routine health data to ensure accountability. Therefore, this research aims to improve the routine health data quality that have been collected and integrated into Aplikasi Satu Data Kesehatan (ASDK) as the primary health data system in Indonesia.

This study aimed to examine the impact of VPA on the expression of NRP-1 and additional angiogenic factors, as well as angiogenesis, in mouse placenta. Pregnant mice were divided into four groups: control (K), solvent control (KP), VPA treatment at a dose of 400 mg/kg body weight (BW) (P1), and VPA treatment at a dose of 600 mg/kg BW (P2).

We designed new monomeric G4 ODNs with an antiparallel topology using antiparallel type duplex/G4 ODNs as robust scaffolds, and we characterized their topology and effects on cytokine secretion. Based on circular dichroism analysis and quantification of mRNA levels of immunostimulatory cytokines, it was found that monomeric antiparallel G4 CpG ODNs containing two CpG motifs in the first functional loop, named G2.

However, it is necessary to assess end-user perceptions regarding mobile health interventions prior to its implementation. This would throw light on the acceptability of mobile phone communication in bringing about behavioral changes among the target Indonesian population.

However, Vero cells produced lower influenza virus titer yield compared to MDCK. Influenza virus needs molecules for internalisation of the virus into the host cell, such as influenza virus receptor and clathrin.

Background: Methoxyacetic acid (MAA) causes fetal limb abnormalities when the substance is administrated on gestation day (GD) 11 in mice. Limb abnormalities are caused mainly by extensive cell death in the mesoderm of the limb plate. This investigation focused on identifying a protein that is linked with mouse limb teratogenicity.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThis study is intended to characterize a protein that is linked with mouse limb teratogenicity as the effects of methoxyacetic acid (MAA) treatment. A single dose of MAA (10 mmol/kg body weight) was given by gavage on gestation day (GD) 11, whereas the control group were administered vehicle only. The pregnant mice were killed at 4 h after MAA treatment, and forelimb buds were isolated from both the control and treated group embryos.

Huntington's disease and some neurodegenerative diseases with Parkinsonian features have postsynaptic defects caused by striatal cell death. Mice were generated in which an attenuated form of the diphtheria toxin gene (tox-176) was expressed exclusively in D1 dopamine receptor (D1R)-positive cells with the aim of determining the effect of this mutation on development of the basal ganglia and on the locomotor phenotype.

One of these, Pdha-2, codes for the murine spermatogenesis-specific isoform of the E1a subunit of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. To begin to delineate the mechanisms regulating its expression in vivo, we have generated transgenic mice lines carrying Pdha-2 promoter deletion constructs.

They have been used to analyze the gain-of-function acquired after microinjection of RNA transcribed in vitro from specific gene constructs, and for establishing loss-of-function mutation obtained by injecting in vitro transcribed antisense RNA and/or synthetic oligonucleotides. This article presents protocols utilized in these studies.

During murine development it is highly expressed in newly forming cartilage, including in the skull precursor cells and vertebral primordia. Ets2 is located on human chromosome 21 (ref.

Despite compelling evidence for modulation of cell proliferation and differentiation by type I IFNs, there were no gross signs of abnormal fetal development or morphological changes in adult IFNAR1-/- mice. However, abnormalities of hemopoietic cells were detected in IFNAR1 -/- mice.

Spermatogenesis is a complex process requiring the coordinate expression of a number of testis-specific genes. How these genes are regulated during spermatogenesis is poorly understood. However, the elucidation of these mechanisms has significant implications for both medicine and the primary livestock industry.
