Aim: The present study aims to investigate the prevalence, causes and outcomes of acute gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding in Rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods: A systemic search was conducted from electronic databases (PubMed/Medline, Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar) from inception to 14 November 2023. All statistical analyses were conducted in Review Manager 5.

This review aims to explore the potential of erythropoietin, a glycopeptide hormone, as a treatment option for Alzheimer's disease, which is the commonest cause of dementia. Prediabetes: An overlooked risk factor for major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events in atrial fibrillation patients.

Background: Prediabetes is a well-established risk factor for major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE). However, the relationship between prediabetes and MACCE in atrial fibrillation (AF) patients has not been extensively studied. Therefore, this study aimed to establish a link between prediabetes and MACCE in AF patients.
