Purpose: To evaluate the association among subclinical hypothyroidism, anti-thyroid peroxidase (anti-TPO) antibody, and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG).
Study Design: Case-control study.
Methods: The cases consisted of patients with POAG and controls were age- and sex-matched patients from the general eye clinic with no history of glaucoma.
Purpose: To describe the clinical profile and magnetic resonance imaging findings of the brain in Duane retraction syndrome (DRS) and determine whether there is an association between clinical presentation and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain characteristics.
Materials And Methods: This was a cross-sectional study done at a tertiary care center in South India. We recruited and analyzed the clinical characteristics of 54 patients with DRS.
Purpose: To determine the efficacy of subliminal cyclophotocoagulation in reducing intraocular pressure (IOP) and to assess the safety profile of the procedure.
Methods: We reviewed the charts of all patients who underwent subliminal cyclophotocoagulation between August 2019 and August 2020. The IOP, number of antiglaucoma medications, and visual acuity were compared at baseline and at 6 months.
