Arnold Chiari malformation (ACM) is defined as protrusion of the meninges and brain components into a congenital defect in the cranium or in the vertebral column. It was originally described by Austrian pathologist Hans Chiari. Among the four types, type-III ACM is the rarest and may associate with encephalocele.

Crouzon syndrome is a rare genetic disorder involving craniofacial skeleton development. It's characterized by a triad of cranial deformities: premature craniosynostosis, facial anomalies (mid-facial hypoplasia), and exophthalmia. The anaesthetic management challenges include the presence of a difficult airway, history of obstructive sleep apnea, congenital cardiac disorders, hypothermia, blood loss, and venous air embolism.

Aim: This study was conducted to analyse the incidence of clinical indicators of quality in endotracheally intubated patients undergoing general abdominal surgeries and obstetric and gynaecological procedures under general anaesthesia and to determine contributing factors for the same.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study was conducted at our institute over a period of 12 months and 709 case records of patients were reviewed.
Brugada Syndrome (BS) is a rare congenital cardiac disorder involving cardiac sodium channels, sometimes presenting with ventricular arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death. Here, we are reporting a case of BS who presented for laparotomy due to obstructed inguinal hernia which was managed satisfactorily with combined epidural and general anaesthesia without any complications.
