Purpose: This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of everolimus (EVE) plus exemestane (EXE) in hormone-receptor positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor-2-negative (HER2-) metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients in real-life settings.
Methods: Overall, 204 HR+, HER2- MBC patients treated with EVE + EXE after progressing following prior endocrine treatment were included. Overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) and safety data were analyzed.

Marginal zone lymphomas (MZLs) are rare and indolent subtypes of non-Hodgkin lymphomas, and their clinical behaviours are heterogeneous. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical and prognostic characteristics of MZL. In this multicentre retrospective study, we analyzed demographical, clinical and prognostic features of 64 MZL patients.

Methods: A total of 308 metastatic RCC patients were analyzed retrospectively.
Results: The increased hemoglobin (Hb) group had significantly higher progression-free survival and overall survival (OS) compared with the decreased Hb group at 11.
Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the prognostic value of β-catenin and LEF-1 expression in patients with operable gastric cancer that receive adjuvant treatment and the relationship between demographic and histopathological variables.
Material And Method: In this study, 82 gastric cancer patients treated with adjuvant treatment after surgery and followed in the Medical Oncology Department of Kocaeli University were included. β-catenin and LEF-1 expression were examined by immunuhistochemical analysis in paraffin embedded tumor tissues of the patients.
Aim Of This Study: Aim of this study was to examine the effects of aromatase inhibitors (AIs), which are used in every phase of breast cancer treatment, on the bone mineral density (BMD) of patients with early-stage breast cancer.
Material And Methods: Menopausal female patients who were diagnosed with stages 1-3 breast cancer and who were planned for anastrazole or letrozole as adjuvant therapy were examined. After the patients' BMD was measured, 45 patients without osteoporosis were included in the study.
Background: The aim of this study was to examine the cardiac effects of anthracycline therapy based on speckle-tracking echocardiography (STE) and to identify patients at risk for cardiotoxicity.
Patients And Methods: The study included 35 breast cancer (BC) and 15 lymphoma patients who were treated with anthracycline-based chemotherapy. Conventional echocardiography and STE were performed 1 month prior to and 1 month after chemotherapy.
Background: Efficacy of chemotherapy plus bevacizumab has been shown in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) compared with chemotherapy alone. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of FOLFIRI or XELIRI regimens in combination with bevacizumab for mCRC patients in a first-line setting.
Materials And Methods: A total of 132 patients with previously untreated and histologically confirmed mCRC were included.
Objective: Functional Living Index Emesis (FLIE) is developed to evaluate the relationship between emesis and it's effects on patient's daily life and is far more relevant to detect the effectiveness of antiemetic treatment compared with self-diary reports. In this study, the efficacy of oral neurokinin-1 antagonist aprepitant on the prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and quality of life is evaluated with FLIE.
Study Design: Cross sectional study.
Background: The prognostic significance of the subclassification of pT2 tumors and the association of these categories with other clinicopathological factors in gastric cancer patients were investigated.
Methods: A total of 224 patients with pT2 gastric cancer who had undergone curative gastrectomy and lymph node dissection were retrospectively analyzed. The prognostic role of the subclassification of pT2 tumors was evaluated by univariate and multivariate analysis.
Background: Although a number of studies have investigated whether tumor diameter is a prognostic factor in gastric cancer, no consensus was reached on its clinical importance. In this study, we aimed to determine the effect of tumor size on survival in patients with pT3 gastric cancer.
Patients And Methods: A total of 232 patients with pT3 gastric cancer, who underwent curative gastrectomy with D2 lymph node dissection, were retrospectively analyzed.
Cardiovascular problems are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). Endothelial dysfunction (ED), which is an early manifestation of vascular injury, has been shown in patients with ADPKD. However, the association between ambulatory blood pressure and ED has not been investigated in these patients.
