Background And Objective: The aim was to investigate the effects of Turkish classical music on pain and oxidative stress in patients undergoing oocyte pick-up.
Methods: The study was a randomized, controlled trial. The groups included Group NM (Non-Music), control group; Group PM, which comprised patients who listened to music before the operation; and Group CM, which comprised patients who listened to music both before and during the operation.
Background: Cesarean section (CS) is one of the most common obstetric procedures worldwide and an increased rate of cesarean section has been observed in recent studies. Maternal and fetal mortality and morbidity associated with cesarean section is an important health problem worldwide. Material And Methods: Twelve patients, aged between 39 and 58, and had a hysterectomy, were included in the study. The size of the leiomyomas was between 20 and 130 mm based on gross pathology after hysterectomy.
