Facial onset sensory and motor neuronopathy (FOSMN) syndrome is a rare neurodegenerative disorder initially characterized by facial sensory deficits, which later progress to motor deficits in a rostral-caudal distribution. This study investigated the prevalence, clinical features, and prognosis of FOSMN syndrome and compared these aspects with those of bulbar-onset amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) within a single institutional cohort of motor neuron diseases. We identified four patients with FOSMN syndrome who had been misclassified as having bulbar-onset ALS, representing approximately 2 % of such ALS cases.

Our objective was to confirm the prediction accuracies of the RCFT-copy and CDT for cognitive impairment (CI) using convolutional neural network algorithms as a screening tool.
Methods: The CDT and RCFT-copy data were obtained from patients aged 60-80 years who had more than 6 years of education.
Although the evidence for attentional bias to pain-related information among individuals with chronic pain has been well established, there are a number of inconsistencies in the research that have been observed due to sample characteristics. Therefore, the present study expanded upon previous studies by including patients with a variety of chronic pain conditions and compared a chronic pain patient sample with healthy community sample. We also investigated how pain catastrophizing and other psychological factors in chronic pain patients affected attentional patterns to pain-related information.

Methods: Between January 2011 and October 2017, acute ischemic stroke patients treated by endovascular thrombectomy in a tertiary university hospital were included. Early neurological deterioration (END) was defined as an increase of 2 or more National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) compared to the best neurological status after stroke within 7 days.
Sarcopenia, which refers to the muscle loss that accompanies aging, is a complex neuromuscular disorder with a clinically high prevalence and mortality. Despite many efforts to protect against muscle weakness and muscle atrophy, the incidence of sarcopenia and its related permanent disabilities continue to increase. We report an unusual case of compressive radial neuropathy with reversible reddish skin color change.
Case Presentation: A 42-year-old man was referred for left wrist drop, finger drop and a tingling sensation over the lateral dorsum of the left hand.
Objectives: To evaluate the validity of the revised 2017 McDonald criteria for multiple sclerosis (MS) compared with the 2010 McDonald criteria to predict conversion to clinically definite multiple sclerosis (CDMS) in patients with clinically isolated syndrome (CIS).
Methods: A total of 163 patients from seven referral hospitals in Korea, who experienced a first clinical event suggestive of MS between 2006 and 2017, were enrolled. Patients were stratified into two groups according to outcome at the last visit: CDMS converters who experienced a second clinical event and non-converters.
