We conducted a large-scale whole-brain morphometry study by analyzing 3.7 peta-voxels of mouse brain images at the single-cell resolution, producing one of the largest multi-morphometry databases of mammalian brains to date. We registered 204 mouse brains of three major imaging modalities to the Allen Common Coordinate Framework (CCF) atlas, annotated 182,497 neuronal cell bodies, modeled 15,441 dendritic microenvironments, characterized the full morphology of 1876 neurons along with their axonal motifs, and detected 2.

Our study aims to investigate the role of circ_0020460 in the development of cervical cancer (CC) and its potential mechanism of action. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and western blot assays were used to detect the expression levels of circ_0020460, miR-485-3p and C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CXCL1).

Projecting trajectories are critical to extracting biologically relevant information from neuron morphologies, as they provide valuable information for both connectivity and cell identity. We developed an artificial intelligence method, deep sequential model (DSM), to extract concise, cell-type-defining features from projections across brain regions.

We spatially registered 205 mouse brains and associated data from six Brain Initiative Cell Census Network (BICCN) data sources covering three major imaging modalities from five collaborative projects to the Allen Common Coordinate Framework (CCF) atlas, annotated 3D locations of cell bodies of 227,581 neurons, modeled 15,441 dendritic microenvironments, characterized the full morphology of 1,891 neurons along with their axonal motifs, and detected 2.

Due to the impact of global climate change, many cities in China have been hit by severe rainstorms, leading to increasingly frequent urban waterlogging disasters. In recent years, nature-based solutions (NbS) have received widespread attention and recognition, providing new ideas and approaches to addressing urban waterlogging issues. First, this article reviews the development process and concept of NbS and analyzes its core ideas and principles.

Here, to systematically examine complete single-neuron morphologies on a brain-wide scale, we established a pipeline encompassing sparse labelling, whole-brain imaging, reconstruction, registration and analysis. We fully reconstructed 1,741 neurons from cortex, claustrum, thalamus, striatum and other brain regions in mice.

Due to the rarity of solitary bone plasmacytoma (SBP), few studies reported the prognosis and survival predictors of SBP, especially for patients with extremity SBP.A total of 552 patients with extremity SBP were identified from the Surveillance Epidemiology and Ends Results (SEER) database between 1973 and 2016. In order to obtain independent predictors of survival, we performed both univariate and multivariate analysis via Cox proportional hazards model.

Here, we identified and characterized a novel lncRNA-000133 from the secondary hair follicle (SHF) of cashmere goat with its ceRNA network analysis, as well as, its potential effects on inductive property of dermal papilla cells were evaluated through overexpression analysis. Expression analysis indicated that lncRNA-000133 had a significantly higher expression at anagen than that at telogen in SHF of Cashmere goat, suggesting that lncRNA-000133 might be involved in the reconstruction of SHF with the formation and growth of cashmere fiber.

In this paper, we describe a new modified method for extracting PCR-quality microbial community DNA from pig faecal samples, which combines the pretreatment with polyformaldehyde, and subsequent DNA lysis in the presence of CTAB, salt, PVP, and beta-mercaptoethanol, followed by isolation of nucleic acids using chloroform (no phenol) based protocol. The method resulted in a 1.
