Prognostic value of nomogram model based on clinical risk factors and CT radiohistological features in hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage.

Objective: To construct a nomogram model based on clinical risk factors and CT radiohistological features to predict the prognosis of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH).

Methods: A total of 148 patients with HICH from April 2022 to July 2024 were retrospectively selected as the research subjects. According to the modified Rankin scale at the time of discharge, they were divided into good group (Rankin scale score 0-2) and bad group (Rankin scale score 3-6).

Background: Psittacosis is a zoonotic disease with a low incidence rate and a lack of specificity in clinical manifestations, making it prone to be missed, misdiagnosed, and even cause delayed treatment for patients. Metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) was successfully performed for the diagnosis of a young patient with psittacosis progressing to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and precisely targeted antibiotic treatment was promptly administered. Additionally, a comprehensive review was conducted on 68 cases of psittacosis complicated with ARDS, with the goal of improving the clinical awareness of this disease.

Objective: To investigate whether hydrogen sulfide (HS) protects against intestinal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury in rats by regulating c-Jun N-terminal kinase/activator protein-1 (JNK/AP-1) signaling pathway.

Methods: Thirty male Wistar rats were divided into sham operated group (Sham group), I/R group, and HS donor sodium hydrosulfide (NaHS) intervention group (I/R+NaHS group), with 10 rats in each group. The I/R injury model was established by blocking the superior mesenteric artery with a non-traumatic vascular clip, with 60 minutes of ischemia followed by 120 minutes of reperfusion.

This study aimed to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of amulirafusp alfa in relapsed or refractory (r/r) B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL).

Methods: We enrolled patients with CD20 + r/r B-NHL who had previously received at least two lines of therapy to receive a single-dose of amulirafusp alfa in the first 2 weeks, followed by a multiple-dose period, in which the patients received the same intravenous dose every week in 4-week cycles.

Background: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a severe cardio-pulmonary vascular disease, involves complex molecular mechanism especially during the pathological process of pulmonary vascular remodeling, brings a significant challenge to clinical treatment and thus resulting in high mortality rates. Background: Rare diseases often entail significant challenges in clinical management and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) assessment. HRQoL assessment tools for rare diseases show substantial variability in outcomes, influenced by disease heterogeneity, intervention types, and scale characteristics. The variability in reported quality of life (QoL) improvements following interventions reflects a need to evaluate the effectiveness of HRQoL assessment tools and understand their suitability across diverse contexts.

Background: Previous studies using genetically modified mouse models and inhibitors have shown that protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) family plays a significant role in arterial thrombosis. However, their role in venous thrombosis remains unknown. In this study, using gene-modified mouse models, we determined whether PDI family members contribute to venous thrombosis.

Background: Different areas of sheep infected with different types of parasites, all will cause serious harm to the local sheep, and the widespread use and repeated use of anthelmintics have produced different degrees of anthelmintic resistance (AR) in various regions. We re-investigated the infection of common parasites and AR of Gastrointestinal Nematodes (GINs) in sheep in Horqin Right Wing Front Banner, and first investigated the common parasite types and AR of GINs in sheep at other four areas in Hinggan league (city), China.

Results: A total of 1770 fecal samples were collected from 1 prefecture-level city and 4 counties in Hinggan league, in which the infection rate of Coccidia ranged from 83.

Development of a thrombin-antithrombin complex detection kit and study in venous thromboembolism complicated by cervical cancer.

Objective: Our study successfully developed an assay kit for thrombin-antithrombin complex (TAT) and demonstrated the predictive value of plasma TAT concentration in the development of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients with cervical cancer.

Method: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 177 patients with cervical cancer who received treatment at the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University in Wuxi City from July 1, 2023 to October 1, 2023. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of cervical cancer patients and their VTE risk factors.
