The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak exacerbated workplace violence and turnover intention among nurses, particularly affecting greater levels of psychological distress. This study aimed to examine psychological distress as a mediator of the relationship between workplace violence and turnover intention among clinical nurses, and to investigate whether caring for patients with COVID-19 moderates this relationship through the lens of the affective events theory. We conducted an online survey of 325 Korean registered nurses (mean age = 30.

This study evaluated the influence of mobile technology support on depressive symptoms and physical activity in female university students.
Methods: A block randomized controlled trial design with a single site was used.
Background: The Cognitive Functioning Self-Assessment Scale (CFSS) was developed to allow the self-assessment of perceived cognitive functioning. It has been tested with satisfactory reliability and validity but was not available for the Chinese population. This study aimed to adapt and validate the Chinese version of the CFSS for community-dwelling adults.

This study reports the development of Virtual ER, a serious game played on a virtual platform, and how it can be an innovative way for delivering interprofessional education to medical and nursing undergraduates.
Objective: We report the development of a serious online game, Virtual ER, and evaluate its effect on teamwork enhancement and clinical competence.
Regulation of cell size is crucial for organ development. Insulin signaling regulates organ size by antagonizing the subgroup O of forkhead box transcription factor (Foxo) through 14-3-3 in Drosophila. However, mechanisms for controlling the level and the nuclear localization of Foxo in developing organs are not well understood.

Patients And Methods: This study was a cross-sectional design. An online survey was completed by 520 female college students in Hong Kong and Korea.
This study was a psychometric validation of a Korean version of the Anticipated Turnover Scale (ATS) involving translation, transcultural adaptation, and validation. We used data from a cross-sectional online survey of 287 Korean practicing nurses in hospitals. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) assessed the validity of the one-factor structure that was hypothesized in the original version.

WHAT IS KNOWN ON THE SUBJECT?: The importance of and interest in nurses' attitudes towards and subjective experience with workplace violence in clinical settings is increasing. The prevalence of patient-perpetrated violence against Korean nurses in hospital settings is highly prevalent. Only few instruments are available to measure the nurses' perception of patient aggression in Korea.

Background: Post-traumatic stress symptoms frequently result from workplace bullying, but how nurses' individual appraisals relate to negative consequences is unclear.
Method: A cross-sectional online survey was conducted with 319 Korean nurses; participants were divided into the perceived and non-perceived workplace bullying groups.
Background: Archipelago (Ago) is a Drosophila homolog of mammalian F-box and WD repeat domain-containing 7 (FBW7, also known as FBXW7). In previous studies, FBW7 has been addressed as a tumor suppressor mediating ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis of several oncogenic proteins. Ubiquitination is a type of protein modification that directs protein for degradation as well as sorting.

Their malfunctions result in cancers and disorders in connective tissues. We report here that a Drosophila ADAMTS named Sol narae (Sona) promotes Wnt/Wingless (Wg) signaling.

By introducing a cationic moiety into the oligonucleotide structure, they become capable of approaching the cell surface and also of crossing the cellular membrane. In an effort to develop cell-permeable oligonucleotides, we examined the piperazinephenyl-bearing 2'-deoxyuridine ((PP)U), which can be not only cationic but also fluorescent as a cationic monomer for cationic oligonucleotides.

In this report, multi-block copolymers (MBCPs) synthesized from pluronic and di-(ethylene glycol) divinyl ether (DEGDVE) were used as a delivery vehicle for controlled and sustained release of plasmid DNA (pDNA) in in vitro as well as in vivo experiments. The non-ionic MBCP/pDNA complex showed remarkable transfection efficiencies against the myocardium cells as well as muscle cells in vivo, which is otherwise very difficult to achieve by using cationic polymers.
