Background: Modern technologies have led to the development of new tools, practices, and digital techniques. However, their use in public health to provide adequate oral health facilities to the community is limited. One of the facilities that can help provide better oral health with minimal cost is teledentistry.

Data was collected from 2013 to 2022 at a 1 Hz frequency. Analysis of the current study indicates that during pre-monsoon, the seasonal maximum of CO was 409.

Its clinical manifestations include a progressive loss of memory and other cognitive domains, as well as brain atrophy. An elevated homocysteine level (>15 µmol/L), known as hyperhomocysteinemia, is also an attributing risk factor for AD, vascular pathologies, and brain atrophy.

Purpose: To evaluate the masticatory efficiency of dentate and rehabilitated complete denture patients in various facial forms.
Materials And Methods: A total of 60 subjects were selected for the study; 30 subjects belonged to the dentate group (D Group) and 30 subjects belonged to the completely edentulous group rehabilitated with conventional complete dentures (CECD Group). All patients were divided into a subgroup (brachyfacial, mesofacial, and dolichofacial facial forms) using facial index measurement and cephalometric analysis.
Soybean, a crop of international importance, is challenged with the problem of seed longevity mainly due to its genetic composition and associated environmental cues. Soybean's fragile seed coat coupled with poor DNA integrity, ribosomal dysfunction, lipid peroxidation and poor antioxidant system constitute the rationale for fast deterioration. Variability among the genotypes for sensitivity to field weathering contributed to their differential seed longevity.

This study prospectively compared goal-directed intraoperative fluid therapy with traditional fluid therapy in general surgical patients undergoing open major bowel surgery.
Methodology: Patients between 20 and 70 years of age, either gender, ASA I and II, and scheduled for elective open major bowel surgery were included in the study.
Aim: To determine the effect of three different provisional restorative materials (PRMs) and application of dentin bonding agent (DBA) on intrapulpal temperature rise during fabrication of provisional crowns using a direct method.
Materials And Methods: Three PRMs-polymethyl methacrylate resin (PMMA), bis-acrylic resin, and dimethyl methacrylate resin (DMMA)-were used in the study. Dentin bonding agent (Single Bond 2, 3M ESPE, Germany) was applied in a single layer or double layer as an insulating material.
Lipoxygenases (LOXs) are dioxygenases that catalyze the peroxidation of linoleic acid (LA) or arachidonic acid (AA), in the presence of molecular oxygen. The existence of inflammatory component in the tumor microenvironment intimately links the LOXs to gastrointestinal (GI) cancer progression. Amongst the six-different human LOX-isoforms, 5-LOX is the most vital enzyme for leukotriene (LT) biosynthesis, which is the main inflammation intermediaries.

The C-terminal domain (CTD) of the RNAP α subunit (αCTD) interacts with the acidic CTD 2 (AR2) of NusA, releasing the autoinhibitory blockade of the NusA S1-KH1-KH2 motif and allowing NusA to bind nascent nut spacer RNA. We determined the solution conformation of the AR2:αCTD complex.

The present study was designed to assess the relationship between clinical parameters and VEGF levels of the GCF from inflammed gingiva, periodontitis sites and treated periodontitis sites, and to correlate them to the serum VEGF levels.
Design: Thirty, gender and age-matched subjects were divided into three groups- health, plaque-induced gingivitis and chronic periodontitis group, based on gingival index score and clinical attachment level.
Eleven novel pregnane glycosides, 2-7 and 9-13, of which four, i.e., 10-13, comprised a new pregnane-type genin exhibiting a hydroxymethylene instead of a Me group at C(19), and the known pregnane glycoside stalagmoside V (8) were isolated from whole plants of Caralluma adscendens var.

LTB(4) is among the most potent stimulants of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) and, thus, participates in tissue injury by recruiting PMNs in a pathophysiologic scenario of periodontal diseases. The aim of the present study was to assess the relationship between clinical parameters and concentrations of LTB(4) within gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) from inflamed gingiva and periodontitis sites before and after the treatment of periodontitis.

Furfuryl alcohol (FA) and 2-furyl methyl ketone (2FMK) are two dietary furans with wide industrial applications and also found in a variety of food items. In a mouse test system, the mutagenicity of these two compounds after five days of exposure has been reported. In the present study histopathological changes and biochemical alterations after a period of 5-90 days of exposure have been evaluated in target organs like liver and kidney.

Background: Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), a glycoprotein, has attracted attention as a potential inducer of angiogenesis. It is detectable in periodontal tissues within endothelial cells, plasma cells, and macrophages and in junctional, sulcular, and gingival epithelium. In periodontitis patients, the volume of gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) and the total amount of VEGF collected from diseased sites were greater than from clinically healthy sites.

Materials And Methods: A retrospective study, using data from medical records of 5000 Type 2 diabetic patients who underwent a retinal examination between 1995 and 1999 at a diabetic centre. Ocular, clinical and biochemical parameters were assessed at baseline and at one-year follow-up after PRP.
A new actinomycete strain designated as BT-408 producing polyketide antibiotic SBR-22 and showing antibacterial activity against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus has been characterized and found to be a novel strain of Streptomyces psammoticus. Nutritional and cultural conditions for the production of antibiotic by this organism under shake-flask conditions have been optimized. Glucose and ammonium nitrate were found to be best carbon and nitrogen sources respectively for growth and antibiotic production.
