The bottom amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide (-IGZO) layer with a relatively low conductivity was designed for an extremely low initial postsynaptic current (PSC) by achieving full depletion at a low negative gate voltage, and the stacked top amorphous indium-zinc oxide (-IZO) layer improved the amplitude of the synaptic current and memory retention owing to the enhancement in the persistent photoconductivity characteristics. We demonstrated an excellent photonic synapse thin-film transistor (TFT) with a precise synaptic weight change even in the range of ultralow light intensity by adapting this stacking IGZO/IZO channel.

The authors hypothesized that the free flap would benefit the surrounding ischemic tissue as a nutrient flap by increasing the tissue oxygen content.
Methods: The patients were divided into two groups: group 1 underwent free flap reconstruction, and group 2 underwent partial foot amputation with primary closure/local flap.

We investigated the immune response mechanisms under systemic and local inflammation using mouse models whereby lipopolysaccharide (LPS) was administered intraperitoneally to induce systemic inflammation, and epicutaneous sensitization with ovalbumin was used to induce local inflammation. LPS increased the immune cell infiltration in the cardiac muscle near the aorta, alveoli, hepatic sinusoid, renal interstitium, and the submucosal layer of the duodenum. Similarly, ovalbumin increased the abundance of macrophages in the skin.

Using a random split sample of 1199 young adult university students, results of exploratory factor analyses (EFA) identified a four-factor structure in the COVID-19 Stressors Questionnaire (C19SQ), which were labeled Resource Constraints, Social Restrictions, Future Uncertainty, and Health Concerns. This model was supported by a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) when run on the other split sample of 1139 university students.

Methods: Multiple modalities have been used to identify recipient vessels from simple palpation of axial arteries to hand-held Doppler, duplex ultrasound, computed tomography angiograms, and other advanced techniques. Although these various modalities bring their own unique advantages, using the duplex ultrasound can provide far superior and real-time information based on the anatomy and physiology of the recipient vessel.
Objective: To analyze the available data on the anti-anger effects of herbal medicines (HMs) as well as their underlying mechanisms in rat models.
Methods: From 6 electronic databases [PubMed, EMBASE, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang, Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System (OASIS), and Research Information Sharing Service (RISS)], relevant animal experiments were searched by using "anger," "rats," and "animal" as search keywords. The last search was conducted on November 22, 2019, and all experiments involving rat models of anger and treatment using HMs published until the date of the search were considered.
Background: Perforator flaps have revolutionized lower limb reconstruction by offering single-stage thin, pliable coverage with an excellent aesthetic match. Although anastomosis of the flap to a major artery remains the gold standard, perforator-to-perforator anastomosis has several advantages, including expedient recipient dissection and increased recipient options in vessel-depleted extremities. The aim of this study was to compare flap survival when a perforator or major artery was used as a recipient vessel.

Objective: College drinking is a significant individual and societal problem, and thus, identifying risk factors to alcohol-related problems has been an important line of inquiry. Adding to this rich literature, the current study examined whether perfectionism dimensions were associated with alcohol-related problems and whether a poor self-regulation process linked these associations.
Participants: A total of 410 university students completed measures pertaining to perfectionism, procrastination, and negative consequences of alcohol use.
