The EuDyGeO, EuLaGeO and EuHoGeO powder were obtained through a solid-state reaction method via multistep firing of stoichiometric ratios of EuO, GeO, DyO, LaO and HoO in open atmosphere at temperatures from 800 to 1150 °C. The thermal behaviour, phase formation, SEM/EDX analysis, photoluminescence properties, Curie tempereture, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the samples were investigated by TG/DTA, XRD, SEM, PL, TG/DTA, LCR-meter and d-meter, respectively. The germenates having triclinic crystal system have D→F, D→F, D→F, D→F transitions of Eu ions.

A series of compounds with the general formula REYZrO (where RE includes Eu, Sm and Y includes La, Sm, Eu) were synthesized using a solid-state reaction method. Textile fibre evidence can provide important activity level information in criminal cases. To date, very few studies have investigated fibre persistence on fabrics exposed to aquatic conditions, even though items of evidence and victim's bodies can regularly be found in aquatic environments. In response to the host environment, the human pathogen Cryptococcus neoformans must rapidly reprogram its translatome from one which promotes growth to one which is responsive to host stress. In this study, we investigate the two events which comprise translatome reprogramming: the removal of abundant, pro-growth mRNAs from the translating pool, and the regulated entry of stress-responsive mRNAs into the translating pool. Removal of pro-growth mRNAs from the translating pool is controlled primarily by two regulatory mechanisms, repression of translation initiation via Gcn2, and decay mediated by Ccr4.

For polymersome-based nanoreactor purposes, we herein present the synthesis and characterization of well-defined star amphiphilic copolymers composed of a beta-cyclodextrin (βCD) core and seven poly(butylene oxide)-block-polyglycidol (PBO-PGL) arms per side (βCD-(PBO-PGL)). The self-assembly behavior of 14-armed βCD-(PBO-PGL) and PGL-PBO-PGL (linear analogues without the βCD segment) was investigated using scattering techniques for comparison. The morphologies, including vesicles and micelles, are governed by the hydrophobic-to-hydrophilic (weight) ratio, regardless of the polymer architecture (linear or star).

This prospective randomized controlled trial comprised 145 patients scheduled for frozen-thawed embryo transfer and was conducted at a university hospital between 2019 and 2021.
