This study aims to demonstrate the effect of gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS) on symptoms, hemorrhage rates, and histopathological changes in patients with cavernous malformations (CMs), regardless of whether the symptomatic lesions are hemorrhagic. This single-center retrospective study evaluated symptomatic patients with single CMs treated with GKRS between 2016 and 2023. The patients' demographic data, presenting symptoms, GKRS radiation dose, complications developed during follow-up (hemorrhage, radiotoxicity), the rate of symptom improvement, and histopathological changes of surgically removed CMs were recorded.

Primer Study Objective: The study aimed to examine motor imagery ability and its association with pain, functional status, neck awareness, and depression in individuals with chronic neck pain.
Design And Setting: A cross-sectional study, single-center.
Introduction: The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of scientific attitude and intelligence on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) motivation using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). It is possible to say that there is a reciprocal relationship between attitudes towards science, intelligence and motivation towards STEM. Motivation is closely and positively related to STEM, scientific attitude, intelligence and organizational development.

By comparing preoperative MRI findings with intraoperative sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) and postoperative pathological results, we sought to explore the potential of ADC values as a non-invasive alternative to axillary interventions. A total of 104 female patients diagnosed with breast cancer between 2019 and 2021 were included in this prospective study.

Background: Anaphylaxis is an emergency that must be correctly recognized and treated by every health care professional. With the update of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) criteria in 2020, differences between the European Academy of Allergy and Immunology (EAACI)/The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) and WAO criteria have come to the fore.
Objective: The aim of our study is to compare the effectiveness of these 2 criteria in diagnosing anaphylaxis in pediatric patients.

Aim: To determine the clinical relevance of a rigid endoscopy surgical method for subdural hematomas, as previously described in a cadaver study.
Material And Methods: Between May 2021 and September 2023, 21 patients underwent subdural hematoma drainage using a 0-degree rigid endoscope. Traumatic acute subdural hematomas were excluded.
The selection of an appropriate anesthesia method is a critical factor in the surgical treatment of proctological diseases, significantly impacting patient outcomes and comfort. Pudendal nerve block (PNB) and spinal anesthesia (SA) are commonly employed in these surgeries, yet the optimal choice between the two remains debated. This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety of PNB and SA in patients undergoing surgical treatment for various proctological conditions, with a focus on postoperative pain management, functional outcomes, and complication rates.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of utilizing the anterior rectus fascia as a turnover flap in conjunction with onlay mesh reinforcement, a procedure known as the modified Chevrel technique (MCT). : We conducted a retrospective analysis of patients who were operated on using MCT for abdominal hernias between January 2013 and December 2019.

Design And Methods: The population of this descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational, and multicenter study consisted of parents registered in six family health centers in a city in southern Turkey. Study data were collected between April and November 2023 using information forms that included questions about parents' personal information, and their thoughts about violence against children during the pandemic and the Sensitivity to Violence Against Children Scale and analyzed.
For over a century, the neuro- and pathophysiological, behavioral, and cognitive correlates of consciousness have been an active field of theoretical considerations and empirical research in a wide range of modern disciplines. Conscious cognitive processing of information cannot be observed directly, but might be inferred from step-like discontinuities in learning performance or sudden insight-based improvements in problem solving behavior. It is assumed that a sudden step of knowledge associated with insight requires a creative reorganization of mental representations of task- or problem-relevant information and the restructuration of the task, respectively problem to overcome an cognitive dead-end or impasse.

Material And Methods: After reviewing the data of 54 patients with solitary meningioma who underwent GKRS between January 2020 and June 2022, demographic characteristics were noted, tumor volumes on T1+C and FIESTA MRI sequences were measured, and sequences were compared. The patients were then divided into two groups according to the presence of invasion to intracranial venous sinuses (groups 1 and 2, respectively).
Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune disease characterized by the autoantibody-mediated destruction of platelets. The treatment of ITP aims to maintain a sufficient platelet count to prevent bleeding. First-line treatment options include corticosteroids and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg), while second-line treatments include splenectomy, rituximab and other immunosuppressive agents, and thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonists.

However, in colorectal cancer (CRC), there are conflicting results regarding the relationship between angiogenesis and clinical-histopathological prognostic factors. Mast cells are immune system cells found in the inflammatory microenvironment; their role in carcinogenesis and prognosis remains unclear although they are considered to cause cancer development and progression.

Cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis is an effective treatment for psychosis. However, psychosis presents differentially according to an individual's cultural context, and it is currently unclear which methods have been used to formulate culturally adapted cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis (CaCBTp). The current systematic review examines the approaches to CaCBTp that have been evaluated to date and comments on preliminary evidence for the efficacy of CaCBTp.

Since current pathology imaging technologies only provide a spatial mapping of tau accumulation, computational modeling becomes indispensable in analyzing the spatiotemporal propagation patterns of widespread tau aggregates from the longitudinal data. However, current state-of-the-art works focus on the longitudinal change of focal patterns, lacking a system-level understanding of the tau propagation mechanism that can explain and forecast the cascade of tau accumulation.
