Motor Imagery BCI systems have a high rate of users that are not capable of modulating their brain activity accurately enough to communicate with the system. Several studies have identified psychological, cognitive, and neurophysiological measures that might explain this MI-BCI inefficiency. Traditional research had focused on mu suppression in the sensorimotor area in order to classify imagery, but this does not reflect the true dynamics that underlie motor imagery.

Evaluations of Implementation at Early-Adopting Lung Cancer Screening Programs: Lessons Learned.

Background: Guidelines recommend lung cancer screening (LCS), and it is currently being adopted nationwide. The American College of Chest Physicians advises inclusion of specific programmatic components to ensure high-quality screening. However, little is known about how LCS has been implemented in practice.

Rationale: Annual low-radiation-dose computed tomography (LDCT) screening for lung cancer has been shown to reduce lung cancer mortality among high-risk individuals and is now recommended by multiple organizations. However, LDCT screening is complex, and implementation requires careful planning to ensure benefits outweigh harms. Little guidance has been provided for sites wishing to develop and implement lung cancer screening programs.

Syntheses and biological evaluation of new fluoroquinolone antibacterials containing chiral oxiimino pyrrolidine.

The design and syntheses of new fluoroquinolone antibacterial agents having pyrrolidine ring at C-7 position are described. The pyrrolidine ring is optically active and possesses methyloxime functional group. Two of them have excellent in vitro antibacterial activities and pharmacokinetic profiles.
