Perception of dental faculty and student regarding class attendance and final performance.

Aim: The aim of this study was to assess the impact of lecture attendance on the academic performance of 3 BDS students at the DMIMS-U, Sawangi (M), Wardha. This project investigated and correlated the difference between faculty and student perceptions regarding attendance and final performance, including factors thought to influence student attendance.

Materials And Methods: Participants from a single university were included in the present retrospective observational study.

Influence of salivary contamination on the dentin bond strength of two different seventh generation adhesive systems: In vitro study.

Aim: To investigate the effect of salivary contamination on the bond strength of two different seventh generation adhesive systems.

Materials And Methods: Sixty caries-free human premolars with flat dentin surfaces were randomly divided into six groups of 10 teeth each and bonding was done using seventh-generation bonding agents Adper Easy One (3M ESPE) and Xeno V (Dentsply). Following the bonding procedure, resin composite was bonded to the surfaces using a plastic mould.

Dental pain and self-care: a cross-sectional study of people with low socio-economic status residing in rural India.

Context: Self-care is one of the ways in which people without access to professional care can actively engage in managing their oral health problems.

Aim: To find out the prevalence of dental pain and the type of self-care remedies utilised for pain relief by people with low socio-economic status residing in Kollipara mandal, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh.

Settings And Design: This was a cross-sectional population-based study.
