: To demonstrate the feasibility of using a modified Malecot catheter with a proximal end adapter as compared to the conventional Malecot catheter, and demonstrate the technique of performing a contrast study without removing the guidewire (GW). : A modified 14-F Malecot catheter with a new proximal end connector with one side channel was used for percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN) under fluoroscopy guidance in five patients. The modified Malecot catheter was introduced over the GW under fluoroscopy guidance.

Objective: The most common acquired fistula of the urinary tract is Vesicovaginal fistulae (VVF) (1) posing social stigmata for the patient as well as a surgical challenge for the urologist. Here we present our initial experience with Robotic assisted laparoscopic repair of VVF, its safety and efficacy.

Materials And Methods: Seven out of eight fistulas were post hysterectomy; five had undergone abdominal while two had laparoscopic hysterectomy while one was due to prolonged labour.

Minimizing the occurrence of hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes is a challenging task since these patients typically check only 1 to 2 self-monitored blood glucose (SMBG) readings per day. We trained a probabilistic model using machine learning algorithms and SMBG values from real patients. Hypoglycemia was defined as a SMBG value < 70 mg/dL.
