The most popular and commercially consumed cultivars of these are Khalas, Reziz, and Sheshi, which are also widely cultivated across the country. Date palm is high water-demanding crop in oasis agriculture, with an inherent ability to tolerate drought stress.

Design by optimization and comparative evaluation of vesicular gels of etodolac for transdermal delivery.

Aim of the present study was to design vesicular gels of etodolac loaded liposomes and ethosomes for effective transdermal delivery. The physicochemical properties of vesicular gels were compared with 45% v/v ethanolic etodolac solution and commercial product (PROXYM®). The liposomes were prepared by film hydration technique whereas ethosomes were prepared by cold method respectively.

The present study reports the synthesis of a new β-Caa with a 3-deoxy-L-ara furanoside side chain, [(R)-β-Caa(da)], from D-glucose, and its use in the synthesis of α/β-peptides in 1 : 1 alternation with D-Ala.

A Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine From India Induces Durable and Cross-protective Immunity Against Temporally and Spatially Wide-ranging Global Field Strains.

Background: Japanese encephalitis (JE) is a vaccine-preventable acute disease. We report the results of a phase 2/3 trial of JENVAC, a Vero cell-derived vaccine developed using an Indian strain of JE virus (JEV).

Methods: JENVAC was administered in 2 doses 28 days apart, and immunogenicity was compared to that from a single dose of SA-14-14-2, the only approved JE vaccine and regimen at the time in India.
