Enhanced skills training in family medicine maternity care: Cross-sectional study of graduates' experiences.

Objective: To describe the experiences of participants in Canadian family medicine maternity care enhanced skills programs: their current practice situation with respect to maternity care; the reasons they pursued enhanced maternity care training; and their perceptions of competencies attained during the program.

Design: Cross-sectional questionnaire.

Meiosis, like mitosis, depends on the activity of the cyclin dependent kinase Cdk1 and its cyclin partners. Here, we examine the specific requirements for the three mitotic cyclins, A, B, and B3 in meiosis of We find that all three cyclins contribute redundantly to nuclear envelope breakdown, though cyclin A appears to make the most important individual contribution. Cyclin A is also required for biorientation of homologs in meiosis I.

Introduction: Despite research demonstrating the safety and benefit of breastfeeding in opioid substitution therapy, few women in treatment breastfeed. Understanding the factors contributing to the choices women on opioid substitution therapy make about infant feeding is important.

Application of neural network for simulation of upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor performance.

Up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactors are being used with increasing regularity all over the world, especially in India, for a variety of wastewater treatment operations. Consequently, there is a need to develop methodologies enabling one to determine UASB reactor performance, not only for designing more efficient UASB reactors but also for predicting the performance of existing reactors under various conditions of influent wastewater flows and characteristics. This work explores the feasibility of application of an artificial neural network-based model for simulating the performance of an existing UASB reactor.
