Multiple molecular subtypes and distinct clinical outcomes in breast cancer, necessitate specific therapy. Moreover, despite the improvements in breast cancer therapy, it remains the fifth cause of cancer-related deaths, indicating the involvement of unknown genes. To identify novel contributors and molecular subtype independent therapeutic options, we report reduced expression of FRG1 in breast cancer patients, which regulates GM-CSF expression via direct binding to its promoter.

Thyroglossal cyst is the most common congenital neck anomaly in children with equal sex incidence, but papillary carcinoma of the thyroglossal cyst in children is rare with only 10 cases reported so far. Even in adults, the incidence of malignancy in the thyroglossal cyst is only 1%. Most cases are diagnosed following surgery on histopathological examination; there is no consensus on the management owing to this rarity and indolent but unpredictable behavior of thyroid cancers.

The only hope of cure in carcinoma stomach is gastrectomy; it can be total or partial depending upon the location of the tumor. While there is no controversy in the extent of resection, the choice of anastomosis after partial gastrectomy is a matter of debate. For pyloric lesions, we felt that in spite of the ease of performing surgery, simplicity, being physiological, and time-saving, Billroth I is underutilized.

Introduction: Tru-cut Needle Biopsy (TCB) is an integral part of triple assessment of breast cancer, which includes clinical assessment, mammography and TCB or Core Needle Biopsy (CNB). The technique is reliable, simple, and reproducible, and inexpensive, which can be adapted even for low-income group of patients and in developing countries.

Aim: This study was done to establish the efficacy of TCB of palpable breast lesions in a developing country where mammography is not possible in all cases.
