A Comparative Study of ChatGPT and BingAI in Answering the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET-PG)-Style Practice Questions: A Cross-Sectional Analysis.

Purpose: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into medical education has witnessed significant progress, particularly in the domain of language models. This study focuses on assessing the performance of two notable language models, ChatGPT and BingAI Precise, in answering the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET-PG)-style practice questions, simulating medical exam formats.

Methods: A cross-sectional study conducted in June 2023 involved assessing ChatGPT and BingAI Precise using three sets of NEET-PG practice exams, comprising 200 questions each.

Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is part of the ANCA-associated vasculitides, although ANCA-negative presentations are not infrequent. Asthma, allergic rhinitis and peripheral eosinophilia are classic associations although pleural effusions are an uncommon manifestation of EGPA. We describe a 35-year old Caucasian adult with asthma who presented with progressive dyspnoea, cough, peripheral eosinophilia and imaging that showed pulmonary nodules with pleural effusions.

Ribosomal dysregulation: A conserved pathophysiological mechanism in human depression and mouse chronic stress.

The underlying biological mechanisms that contribute to the heterogeneity of major depressive disorder (MDD) presentation remain poorly understood, highlighting the need for a conceptual framework that can explain this variability and bridge the gap between animal models and clinical endpoints. Here, we hypothesize that comparative analysis of molecular data from different experimental systems of chronic stress, and MDD has the potential to provide insight into these mechanisms and address this gap. Thus, we compared transcriptomic profiles of brain tissue from postmortem MDD subjects and from mice exposed to chronic variable stress (CVS) to identify orthologous genes.

Background: Socio-cultural perceptions surrounding death have profoundly changed since the 1950s with development of modern intensive care and progress in solid organ transplantation. Despite broad support for organ transplantation, many fundamental concepts and practices including brain death, organ donation after circulatory death, and some antemortem interventions to prepare for transplantation continue to be challenged. Attitudes toward the ethical issues surrounding death and organ donation may influence support for and participation in organ donation but differences between and among diverse populations have not been studied.

In this article, we report hybrid chemiresistor sensor arrays based on single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) non-covalently functionalized with six different MPs using the solvent casting technique.

Streptavidin-biotin was chosen as a model system for evaluating the sensor's performance. High-affinity interactions of streptavidin-gold nanoparticles (strep-AuNPs) to the biotin-functionalized nanogap localizes AuNPs, thereby bridging the gap and resulting in changes in device conductance.
