Background Babies born between 37 weeks +0 days and 38 weeks +6 days by scheduled caesarean delivery before the onset of labour are more prone to developing respiratory complications than babies delivered between 39 weeks +0 days and 40 weeks +0 days. Antenatal corticosteroids have been used in preterm births for lung maturity. The advantages of administering antenatal corticosteroids before a scheduled caesarean delivery in the early term remain a subject of debate.

Retinal Microvascular Characteristics and Outcomes in Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy.

Background Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) is a continuum of chronic hypertension, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, and eclampsia in increasing severity, associated with a higher risk of complicated pregnancies and poor neonatal outcomes. This multisystem involvement can be assessed by fundoscopy, which serves as an indicator for generalized microvascular abnormalities. Our study aims to evaluate the correlation of hypertensive retinopathy with the severity of HDP and maternal and fetal outcomes.

Background From the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, studies have observed an increased prevalence of psychological symptoms in the general population and healthcare providers. We studied the prevalence of psychological symptoms among the latter. Methods We did this study using a self-administered questionnaire among healthcare providers across India who were involved in caring/treating patients.

Endometrial blood vessel morphometry in patients presenting with abnormal uterine bleeding.

Background: : Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is one of the most common problems encountered in gynecological practice. Various benign and malignant disorders of the endometrial tissue show vascular changes such as congestion, dilatation, and vessel wall irregularities.

Aim: To evaluate the vascular morphometry of the endometrial tissue in AUB.
