In this present study we have attempted to grade soft tissue sarcomas on fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) material and then subsequently correlated our findings on histology section.A total of 44 cases of primary soft tissue sarcomas (STS) were graded and correlated with the subsequent histopathology sections.FNAC successfully diagnosed 40 cases and four cases were reported as benign.

Materials And Methods: In this study, histology proven 71 cases of fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) of palpable breast lesions were selected. There were 30 invasive carcinomas (24 infiltrating duct carcinoma and 6 infiltrating lobular carcinoma), 25 cases of benign lesion (21 fibroadenomas and 4 fibrocystic lesions) and 11 proliferative breast diseases (other than carcinoma in situ) and five cases of carcinoma in situ.
Fine-needle aspirationbiopsy (FNAB) is now widely accepted as a diagnostic modality for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The most common diagnostic problem in HCC is distinguishing it from a metastatic carcinoma. The literature from India on HCC is scanty.

We prospectively studied brush cytology in 30 patients with malignant biliary obstruction. Wire guided brush cytology was obtained from the stricturous segment during endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography.

Study Design: This prospective study included 57 cases with a preliminary aspiration diagnosis of MSRCT. The contributions of EM and ICC in arriving at a specific diagnosis were evaluated.
A retrospective study was carried out on 30 cases of histologically proven invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast with a prior fine-needle aspiration (FNA) cytology. On evaluating the May-Grünwald-Giemsa (MGG) FNA smears, cytoplasmic vacuolation was observed in 70% cases. Positivity with periodic acid Schiff-positive, diastase-resistant (DPAS) staining was observed in 90% of cases.

Bacillary index (BI) and morphological index (MI) in lymph nodes, have been studied in 30 patients with various types of leprosy by lymph node aspiration and impression smears, This comparatively safer, less traumatising out patient procedure, already established for the study of malignant cytology is recommended as a better alternative to the more time consuming and painful lymph node excision biopsy technique for the study of viability of lepra bacilli (MI) in patients undergoing anti-leprosy treatment.
