Grading & scoring systems used for pre-anaesthetic evaluation of the patients.

Pre-anaesthetic assessment of the patients is an integral part of anesthesia & surgery. In assessing the present condition and to determine the prognosis of the outcome of the patients after surgery in relation to anesthesia, different grading and scoring systems have been used. Grading & scoring for physical status, cardiac index, dyspnoea, liver function, hepatic coma, lung function, multiple injury etc.
