Studies on the production of enantioselective nitrilase in a stirred tank bioreactor by Pseudomonas putida MTCC 5110.

Nitrilases constitute an important class of hydrolases, having numerous industrial applications. The present work aims to address the production of nitrile hydrolyzing enzymes from Pseudomonas putida MTCC 5110 in a 6l bioreactor. Effect of various physico-chemical conditions and process parameters like pH, temperature, aeration and agitation rates and inducer concentration was studied.
