The title compound, C(12)H(24)N(+)·C(5)H(8)NO(4) (-), contains one dicyclo-hexyl-ammonium cation and one 3-[(hy-droxy-meth-yl)carbamo-yl]propano-ate anion in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal, the ions are linked by inter-molecular N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along [100].
