The Effect of Irrational Relationship Beliefs on Attitudes Toward Intimate Partner Violence in Emerging Adults: Moderating Effect of Gender.

Attitudes toward intimate partner violence (IPVA) can be considered as approval/acceptance or disapproval/nonacceptance of physical violence against the intimate partner, psychological abuse, and control of the intimate partner. Individual (such as antisocial tendencies and irrational relationship beliefs [IRB]) and social factors (such as traditional norms and beliefs) shape IPVA. Studies on intimate partner violence (IPV) have revealed a significant relationship between IPVA and IPV.

Relationships Amongst Aggression, Self-Theory, Loneliness, and Depression in Emerging Adults.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships amongst aggression, self-theory, loneliness, and depression. The study group consisted of 904 student volunteers from various undergraduate programs of a university in Central Anatolia. Simple and hierarchical multiple linear regression analyses, as well as t-tests, were used to analyze the data.
