Ten patients with mitral stenosis underwent right and left heart catheterization. In order to assess the diastolic properties of these ventricles an hemodynamic-echocardiografic techniques was employed. Left ventricular pressure and an echocardiogram of the body of the left ventricle were simultaneously registered.
