The proliferation and myogenic differentiation of muscle stem cells (MuSCs) are important factors affecting muscle development and beef quality. There is increasing evidence that circRNAs can regulate myogenesis. We found a novel circRNA, named circRRAS2 that is significantly upregulated in the differentiation phase of bovine MuSCs.

Purpose: Gefitinib is a widely used therapeutic drug for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and its acquired resistance has become one of the barriers to the successful use of the drugs to treat NSCLC patients. Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) has an essential role in developing cancer drug resistance. Hence, this study aimed to investigate the effect and modulatory mechanisms of lncRNA MCF2L-AS1 in Gefitinib resistance in NSCLC.

Background: The growth and development of muscle stem cells (MuSCs) are significant events known to affect muscle plasticity, disease, meat production, and meat quality, which involves the types and functions of mRNA and non-coding RNA. Here, MuSCs were cultured from Guangxi fetal cattle. RNA sequencing was used to analyze the RNA expression of mRNA and non-coding RNAs during the cell proliferation and differentiation phases.

Radioactive seed brachytherapy is a method for treating drug-resistant, late-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). To elucidate the mechanism of low-dose gambogic acid (GA) and NaI in drug-resistant NSCLC cells, the human NSCLC A549 cell line and the drug-resistant A549/cisplatin (DDP) and A549/Taxol cell lines were treated with NaI, low-dose GA or a combination of both in the present study; the control group of each cell line was treated with phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Following treatment, cell proliferation, apoptosis and cell cycle analysis was performed.

The present paper deals with two new species of , (female and male) and (female and male). The male of differs from the related species Song & Chai, 1992 in ventral view of palpal organ. The female of differs from the related species Żabka, 1981 by: 1) hoods locate at the anterior area of epigynum and far away from the copulatory openings; 2) epigynum about circular; 3) copulatory openings transverse.

Objective: To explore changes of serum protein fingerprinting in primary liver cancer (PLC) patients of different Chinese medical syndromes before and after interventional treatment detected by surface enhanced laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS).

Methods: Totally 154 PLC patients were assigned to 5 groups, i.e.

Objective: To explore different expressions of serum proteins among different Chinese medical syndrome types of primary liver cancer (PLC) in the perioperative period of interventional treatment, and to explore its significance.

Methods: Totally 154 PLC patients were assigned to Gan depression syndrome (GDS, 37 cases), Pi deficiency syndrome (PDS, 45 cases), dampness heat syndrome (DHS, 18 cases), blood stasis syndrome (BSS, 28 cases), and yin deficiency syndrome (YDS, 26 cases). The mass spectra of serum proteins were analyzed by using surface enhanced laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS).
