Immune-mediated hepatitis is recognised as a frequently occurring complication with the use of checkpoint inhibitor immunotherapy drugs. The mainstay of treatment involves the use of immunosuppressive agents, such as corticosteroids. Mycophenolate mofetil is added when steroid resistant.
