Background: Cardiac arrest in toddlers is rare, but accidental electrocution may induce arrhythmias.
Case Presentation: A previously healthy one-year-old child suffered electrocution from an old shoe-warmer and went into cardiac arrest. Her mother started cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the ambulance arrived after seven minutes.
