Fertility preservation in the cancer setting, known as oncofertility, is a field that requires cross-disciplinary interaction between physicians, basic scientists, clinical researchers, ethicists, lawyers, educators, and religious leaders. Funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Oncofertility Consortium (OC) was formed to be a scientifically grounded, transparent, and altruistic resource, both intellectual and monetary, for building this new field of practice capable of addressing the unique needs of young patients with cancer. The OC has expanded its attention to include other nonmalignant conditions that can threaten fertility, and the work of the OC now extends around the globe, involving partners who together have created a community of shared effort, resources, and practices.

In this study, occurrence of remote intramedullary signal changes, consistent with WD, and its correlation with clinical and neurophysiological impairment were assessed after traumatic spinal cord injury (tSCI).
Methods: In 35 patients with tSCI, WD was evaluated by two radiologists on T2-weighted images of serial routine MRI examinations of the cervical spine.

Introduction: Canine-assisted interventions are commonly used as an adjunct therapy to enhance health and well-being, and are often implemented in long-term care facilities. The number of studies undertaken in this area has increased substantially over the previous five years; therefore, an update of two previous systematic reviews is warranted.
Introduction: Systematic reviews provide a rigorous synthesis of the best available evidence regarding a certain question. Where high-quality evidence is lacking, systematic reviewers may choose to rely on case series studies to provide information in relation to their question. However, to date there has been limited guidance on how to incorporate case series studies within systematic reviews assessing the effectiveness of an intervention, particularly with reference to assessing the methodological quality or risk of bias of these studies.

Introduction: The number of evidence synthesis studies focusing on identifying factors that support/facilitate (act as "enablers") or impede (act as "barriers") implementation of best practice in health care has significantly increased as researchers and clinicians strive to understand the evidence-practice gap. There is currently no consensus on the evidence synthesis approach for such topics, with the methods for analyzing or synthesizing results from barrier and enabler studies varying across existing evidence reviews.
Objective: The objective of this review is to evaluate measurement properties of instruments used to measure fatigue in clinicians within hospital settings.
Introduction: Research has shown that clinician fatigue leads to accidents and mistakes, and puts patient safety at risk. The problem of managing fatigue in clinicians may need a more complex approach than only restricting work hours.
Background: Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) may stem from the formation of aberrant and enduring aversive memories. Some PTSD patients have recreationally used Cannabis, probably aiming at relieving their symptomatology. However, it is still largely unknown whether and how Cannabis or its psychotomimetic compound Δ-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) attenuates the aversive/traumatic memory outcomes.

Introduction: Mixed methods systematic reviews provide a more complete basis for complex decision-making than that currently offered by single method reviews, thereby maximizing their usefulness to clinical and policy decision-makers. Although mixed methods systematic reviews are gaining traction, guidance regarding the methodology of combining quantitative and qualitative data is limited.
Objective: The objective of the proposed systematic review is to determine the barriers and enablers (or facilitators) to the implementation of pressure injury prevention among adults receiving care in the hospital setting.
Introduction: Hospital-acquired pressure injuries are preventable; however, they remain an ongoing safety and quality health care concern in many countries. There are various evidence-based preventative interventions for pressure injuries, but their implementation in clinical practice is limited.
In this research, we document the existence of broad ideological differences in judgment and decision-making confidence and examine their source. Across a series of 14 studies (total = 4,575), we find that political conservatives exhibit greater judgment and decision-making confidence than do political liberals. These differences manifest across a wide range of judgment tasks, including both memory recall and "in the moment" judgments.

We report a 12-year retrospective review of 162 nonsyndromic patients who underwent operative repair using our previously-described technique which portends excellent surgical outcomes and can be applied to patients of any age group and with any variety of suture fusion.
Methods: Data was gathered on patients who underwent CVR from 2005 to 2016.
