Colonoscopy is known to be associated with peritonitis in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients. Antibiotic prophylaxis is recommended before colonoscopy. This study aims to investigate the clinical characteristics and outcomes of patients with PD-related peritonitis after colonoscopy.
