The accurate and complete assembly of both haplotype sequences of a diploid organism is essential to understanding the role of variation in genome functions, phenotypes and diseases. Here, using a trio-binning approach, we present a high-quality, diploid reference genome, with both haplotypes assembled independently at the chromosome level, for the common marmoset (Callithrix jacchus), an primate model system that is widely used in biomedical research. The full spectrum of heterozygosity between the two haplotypes involves 1.

Background: Lichen sclerosus (LS) is a chronic inflammatory condition that is known to arise on the vulva. Many women with LS report vulvar pain, often affecting a patient's quality of life. In this study, the sexual function of LS patients, with and without pain, was compared to control populations.

Among the ways to deliver comparatively large amounts of boron to cells in vitro for boron neutron capture studies is the linkage of a boronated macromolecule such as polylysine to an antibody. In order to reduce interference with immunoreactivity, boronated polylysine (BPL) was linked to oligosaccharide moieties on the IgG molecule distant from the antibody combining sites. The resultant bioconjugate was chromatographically separated from free BPL and unconjugated antibody using a Sephacryl S300 column.
