Aims: Iatrogenic pseudoaneurysms of the femoral artery lead to increased morbidity and mortality, especially when surgical treatment is necessary. Manual compression and thrombin injection are commonly used to occlude the pseudoaneurysms. However, in some cases these treatment options are inapplicable or unsuccessful.
