Isolated aneurysm of the internal jugular vein.

True venous aneurysms are rare. We report the case of a 70-year-old male with the extremely uncommon finding of an aneurysm of the internal jugular vein. Due to their rarity, no general guidelines for the treatment of these aneurysms have been established.
