This article provides recommendations for implementing QSM for clinical brain research. It is a consensus of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Electro-Magnetic Tissue Properties Study Group. While QSM technical development continues to advance rapidly, the current QSM methods have been demonstrated to be repeatable and reproducible for generating quantitative tissue magnetic susceptibility maps in the brain.

Phagocytosis is one of the key functions of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells, which maintain photoreceptor health by removing photoreceptor outer segments (POSs) that are regularly shed. A deficiency in RPE function to phagocytose POSs may lead to vision loss in inherited retinal diseases and eventually to age-related macular degeneration (AMD) with geographic atrophy. Significant progress has been made in the field of cell replacement therapy for AMD using stem-cell-derived RPE.

The choriogenin H - EGFP transgenic medaka (Oryzias melastigma) has been used to test estrogenic substances and quantify estrogenic activity into 17β-estradiol (E2) equivalency (EEQ). Introduction: The goal of European Ultrahigh-Field Imaging Network in Neurodegenerative Diseases (EUFIND) is to identify opportunities and challenges of 7 Tesla (7T) MRI for clinical and research applications in neurodegeneration. EUFIND comprises 22 European and one US site, including over 50 MRI and dementia experts as well as neuroscientists.

Methods: EUFIND combined consensus workshops and data sharing for multisite analysis, focusing on 7 core topics: clinical applications/clinical research, highest resolution anatomy, functional imaging, vascular systems/vascular pathology, iron mapping and neuropathology detection, spectroscopy, and quality assurance.

We present a case of a bifurcation lesion treated with two dedicated sirolimus eluting bifurcation stents, BiOSS Lim in the setting of non-ST elevation myocardial infarction and poor left ventricular function. We demonstrate the feasibility of a new technique, a "simplified" culotte technique. The key differences of this new technique compared with conventional culotte are: better sizing of the stent due to the specific design of the stent with a larger proximal diameter and smaller distal diameter, direct stenting of the second stent without predilatation of the stent struts of the first deployed stent, and possibility to perform post-dilatation directly with properly sized balloons without additional predilatation.

There are limited prospective angiographic data on stent deployment for long coronary lesions. This multicenter prospective study enrolled 120 patients with a single de novo stenosis >20 mm in length, in a native vessel > or =3 mm diameter, suitable for a MultiLink stent 25 to 35 mm in length with additional stent deployment if required. Quantitative angiography before and immediately after stenting and at 6-month follow-up assessed restenosis for the complete lesion and for 5-mm segments of the stented and adjacent nonstented vessel.
