We used sleep monitoring data from a study that investigated the prevalence, characteristics, risk factors and type of sleep apnea (SA) in 579 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Most patients were screened for two nights, resulting in 1,043 sleep recordings that each contained data from one night. SA was diagnosed using the Nox T3 portable sleep monitor.

The paper aims to assess the impacts of decentralisation and privatisation reforms on access to and quality of health services in Indonesia. The research draws on qualitative and quantitative data from interviews, focus group discussions, and household surveys in four selected districts. The main conclusions are three-fold; the local administration of health care services is without transparency and accountability, health centres are turned into profit centres, and the increasing roles of private actors tend to reduce concerns over preventive health care and the conditions for poor people.

Problems of violent youth groups have escalated in Indonesia, following economic recession, unemployment, and weakened state institutions. Young people have been hit by the lack of income and broken expectations. In consequence, youth groups emerge and arrange for members' economic revenue as well as identity creation and confidence.
