Research Question: Is HL associated with physical performance, gait variability, and postural sway in older adults, and will additional dizziness moderate the effect of HL on balance?
Methods: In this cross-sectional study we examined 100 older individuals (age ≥70 years, 60 % females), divided in two groups, with or without age-related HL.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties and concurrent validity of the Haukeland Dizziness Questionnaire (HDQ-10), a 10-item questionnaire designed for simplified assessment of symptom severity and emotional effects in patients with vestibular disorders.

Objective: The video head impulse test (vHIT) and cervical and ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (cVEMP and oVEMP) are new methods for measuring peripheral vestibular function. Background: The impact of long-term dizziness is considerable both on the personal level and in society and may lead to self-imposed restrictions in daily activities and social relations due to fear of triggering the symptoms. The objective of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of a hand-held pressure algometer in measuring pressure pain threshold (PPT) in different cervical regions of dizzy patients.
Methods: PPT was measured at two bilateral standardized sites of the neck by a trained physiotherapist in 50 patients with dizziness.
Objective: In clinical practice, patients are often referred due to a finding of positional nystagmus that does not always appear to correlate with clinical symptoms of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. To know when to consider nystagmus to be of clinical relevance, it is necessary to know the prevalence and characteristics of positional nystagmus in a healthy population.

History: We report an occupational diver who suffered spontaneous subarachnoidal pneumocephalus related to a dive to 20 meters.
Objective: Head stability, central for balance control during locomotion, is associated with attenuation of trunk oscillations. The study aimed at exploring trunk attenuation in patients with unilateral vestibular disorder (UVD) assuming it was compromised, and to see if attenuation could be influenced by vestibular rehabilitation therapy.
