Does Surgical Margin Width Remain a Challenge for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer? A Retrospective Analysis.

: Local and distant relapse (LR, DR) in breast cancer vary according to its molecular subtypes, with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) being the most aggressive. The surgical resection margin width (SRMW) for breast-conserving surgery (BCS) has been intensely debated, especially for the aforementioned subtype. The aim of this study was to examine the impact of SRMW on LR following BCS in TNBC patients.

Experimental Research on the Cutting of Metal Materials by Electrical Discharge Machining with Contact Breaking with Metal Band as Transfer Object.

The scientific paper presents practical research carried out by a mixed team of Romanian researchers from universities and the business environment. The research consists in applying the process of cutting metallic materials through electrical discharge machining with contact breaking using a metal band as a transfer object. The research was implemented with the help of a specially designed installation in the laboratory and subsequently all the necessary steps were taken to obtain the patent for it.

Laparogastroscopy and Esophageal Stenosis.

Purpose: An original technique using laparoscopic instruments in a gastric endocavitary work chamber with potential for esophagus, stomach and D1 vizualisation. The main purpose of laparagastroscopy is to improve the quality of life of the patient disabling by the esophageal tumor. This method has several advantages: providing physiological feeding, harvesting materials for histopathological examination, solving eso-tracheal fistulas concurrently with the proposed operation and hemostatic role through compression, low energy and plastic consumption, rapid socio-economic reintegration, mental psychological care of the patient.
