: To evaluate the advanced lens measurement approach (ALMA) formula accuracy using different lens constants available on the user group for laser interference biometry (ULIB) and IOL Con platforms. In this retrospective, comparative, case-series study, 150 eyes of 160 patients with previous myopic Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) or laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK), who underwent uneventful cataract surgery and IOL implantation, were examined. The ALMA formula was evaluated to calculate the refractive prediction error (PE), analysing four different categories of lens constants: both nominal and optimized A-Constant for SRKT, which are available on the ULIB and IOL Con platforms.

Radioligand therapy (RLT) with lutetium (Lu) oxodotreotide is an approved therapy in combination with somatostatin analogues (SSAs) for patients with advanced, well-differentiated G1-G2, gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NETs) that progress on SSAs. We conducted a series of round table meetings throughout Italy to identify issues related to RLT delivery to patients with GEP-NETs. Four key issues were identified: (1) the proper definition of tumour progression prior to RLT initiation; (2) the impact of RLT in patients with bone metastases and/or high hepatic tumour burden; (3) the optimal follow-up protocol after RLT; and (4) organisational issues related to RLT use and managerial implications.

How much should you talk, pause, or interrupt your counterpart in negotiations? The present research on the macrostructure of negotiation conversations to examine how systematic differences in conversation dynamics-the structural and temporal patterns that arise from the presence or absence of speech between interlocutors-relate to objective and relational outcomes at the bargaining table. We examined 38,564 speech turns from 239 online negotiation recordings and derived, for each negotiator ( = 380), 16 measures pertaining to seven dimensions of conversation dynamics: speaking time, turn length, pauses, speech rate, interruptions, backchannels, and response time. A series of pseudorotaxanes with supramolecular organometallic silver(I) and gold(I) pillarplexes acting as rings and different α,ω-dicarboxylic acids as axle components are reported. The successful formation of the host-guest complexes is shown by H NMR spectroscopy and respective NMR titration. Additional evaluation with ITC titration experiments yielded dissociation constants (K ) ranging from 10 to 10  M.

Congenital melanocytic naevus (CMN) syndrome, previously termed neurocutaneous melanosis, is a rare disease caused by postzygotic mosaic mutations occurring during embryogenesis in precursors of melanocytes. The severity of neurological manifestations in CMN patients is related to central nervous system abnormalities found at magnetic resonance imaging. The association between CMN and Dandy-Walker malformation (DWM) has been described in the literature, but recent advances in imaging and genetics lead to diagnostic criteria revision.
