Adverse effects due to off-target activity can be predicted by careful comparison of the relationship between expected plasma concentration and off-target activity of the test compound with that of reference drugs targeting that receptor for their therapeutic efficacy. The ratio between plasma concentration (unbound) and the K at the receptor is a surrogate measure reflecting receptor occupancy. Where data are available for reference drugs, we have curated and evaluated this at 100 receptors, 72 of which can involve both negative and positive modulations by drugs: a total of 172 'receptor modulations'.

Purpose: To document experiences with one year of clinical implementation of the first Cherenkov imaging system and share the methods that we developed to utilize Cherenkov imaging to improve treatment delivery accuracy in real-time.
Methods: A Cherenkov imaging system was installed commissioned and calibrated for clinical use. The optimal room lighting conditions and imaging setup protocols were developed to optimize both image quality and patient experience.
Polysorbate (PS) 20 and 80 are the main surfactants used to stabilize biopharmaceutical products. Industry practices on various aspects of PS based on a confidential survey and following discussions by 16 globally acting major biotechnology companies is presented in two publications. Part 1 summarizes the current practice and use of PS during manufacture in addition to aspects like current understanding of the (in)stability of PS, the routine QC testing and control of PS, and selected regulatory aspects of PS.

Dietary treatments were as follows: commercial control with vitamin D3 (CON) at NRC recommended concentrations and three diets composed of CON + increasing inclusions (25, 50, and 250 µg/kg equivalent) of 25OHD3 from a novel source (CON + 25; CON + 50; and CON + 250, respectively). Pigs (n = 144) were assigned to 24 pens which were allotted to one of the four dietary treatments and fed for 42 d.
