Epilepsy is a neurological disorder in which malfunctioning of the electrical activity of the brain causes recurrent, unprovoked seizures. Epilepsy causes wide symptoms that include cognitive dysfunction, anxiety, behavioral alterations, and histological impairments. In this study, the effect of Hippophae rhamnoides (Sea buckthorn/Sbt) on electrophysiology, behavior, and histology in iron-induced epilepsy was analyzed.
