In 1968 K. Richter treated post-hysterectomy prolapse of the vaginal stump by fixating the vaginal stump to the sacrospinous ligament via transvaginal route. Nowadays most authors perceive this technique as an inseparable component of vaginal hysterectomy, for the purpose of preventing vaginal stump prolapse.

The phonon properties of multiferroic hexagonal RMnO₃ thin films are studied based on a microscopic model including anharmonic spin-phonon interactions. We obtain an anomaly near the magnetic phase transition temperature T(N) which can be attributed to the magnetoelectric nature of RMnO₃ and a strong spin-phonon interaction. The size and surface effects on the phonon properties are discussed.

The influence of substrate effects on the ferroelectric and magnetic properties in multiferroic thin films is studied based on the Heisenberg and transverse Ising model. Green's function technique allows the calculation of static and dynamic properties in the dependence on temperature, film thickness and different substrates. It is demonstrated that the polarization, the magnetization, the critical temperatures and the spin-wave energies are very sensitive to the exchange interaction constants between the surface and the substrate and could be increased or decreased by using different kinds of substrates.

The influence of the surface, film thickness, temperature and ion doping effects on the magnetic and electric properties in multiferroic thin films is studied by a combination of modified Heisenberg and transverse Ising models using a Green's function technique. It is demonstrated that the magnetization M, the polarization P, the critical temperatures T(N) and T(C), the spin-wave energies E(m) and E(e), and their damping are very sensitive to the exchange interaction constants on the surface (A(1s) and J(s)) and in the defect layers (A(1d) and J(d)). It has been found that the damping is enhanced compared to the case with no defect layers.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of single-day treatment with oral fluconazole and topical fenticonazole in acute vulvovaginal candidosis (VVC). Infection was proven by detection of yeast cells and pseudohyphae on microscopic examination of vaginal wet smears, by mycological cultures, as well as by the clinical symptoms. The study included 108 patients.

The phonon properties of orthorhombic manganites RMnO(3) are studied using a Green's function technique taking into account anharmonic spin-phonon and phonon-phonon interaction terms. The strong spin-phonon interaction leads to anomalies in the phonon energy and the damping around the magnetic phase transition. The phonon spectrum is discussed for different exchange interaction J(1) and spin-phonon interaction R(sp) constants.
